A buttock lift improves the shape, size, and overall appearance of the buttocks. Weight fluctuations and aging contribute to volume loss and sagging in the buttock area. Factors such as age, skin quality, laxity, body weight, height, and others determine the type and parameters of the procedure. The classic buttock lift method can be combined with simultaneous liposculpture of the buttocks, using either silicone implants or fat transfer from other parts of the body (liporecycling). In mild cases of sagging, threads and hyaluronic acid are recommended to provide support and volume to the buttocks.
Hospitalization is limited to just a few hours after the buttock lift surgery. After the procedure, the patient should avoid sitting for approximately two weeks, as the implant may shift. Similar caution is needed during sleep, which should be done in a side-lying position. During the first few days, the patient should limit physical activity.
Stitches are removed after about 15 days, and afterward, the patient should use specialized products to aid healing and improve the appearance of scars. Returning to work and daily activities is possible within two weeks, while returning to exercise and physical activity is possible after 1–2 months.
